Anthropologist lectures on Native American military globalization in Paris

Harald E.L. Prins, university distinguished professor of anthropology, presented an invited lecture on “Military Globalization of Indian Country in the 20th Century” at the École des hautes études en sciences sociales in Paris on March 21. This lecture, based on historical research for a forthcoming book on American Indians in World War II and the Korean War, formed part of the 2010-2011 research seminar "Crossing Borders," hosted by Marie Mauzé of the Laboratoire d’anthropologie sociale and Joëlle Rostkowski of UNESCO.
