Seniors, now is the time to think about your postgraduate plans. The political science department will host a senior reception at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 26 in 104B Waters Hall. The reception will showcase the excellent opportunities associated with pursuing a Master of Arts in political science, a Master of Public Administration, or a Master of Arts in security studies at K-State.
The reception is open to seniors of all majors with a 2.8 or higher GPA and refreshments will be served.
Learn about how these programs can prepare you for professional careers in public or nonprofit administration, international affairs, or to pursue a doctorate in political science.
Recent graduates of K-State's Master of Public Administration and Master of Arts in security studies programs have found fulfilling careers working for federal, state and local government agencies and nonprofits, as well as careers focused on international affairs. Recent graduates of the department's Master of Arts program have gone on to earn doctoral degrees from nationally recognized institutions such as Emory University, the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee and Indiana University.
