Mortar Board Outstanding Student Scholarship application for freshmen, sophomores and juniors due Nov. 4
The 2016-2017 chapter of Mortar Board Senior Honor Society at K-State is awarding three scholarships to an outstanding freshman, sophomore and junior student. This award serves to identify and reward students who demonstrate distinguished ability and achievement in scholarship, leadership and service — the three major principles of the society.
One $250 scholarship will be awarded to a freshman, one $250 scholarship to a sophomore and one $500 scholarship to a junior for use in the spring 2017 semester.
The application can be accessed through the Mortar Board Senior Honor Society OrgSync page. All applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4.
Finalists will be contacted for personal interviews by Tuesday, Nov. 8. These interviews will take place Sunday, Nov. 13.
