President Myers to teach LEAD 502 in fall 2017
The Staley School of Leadership Studies will offer LEAD 502: Exploring the Practice of Leadership to all students. This course will be taught by President Richard Myers and offered in fall 2017.
This one-credit hour course is offered in the fall semester on Tuesdays from 12:30 p.m. to 1:20 p.m. President Myers will engage the class in exploring leadership through personal experiences as former U.S. Air Force general, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and current president of Kansas State University and those of select guest speakers. Students will consider ethical dimensions of leadership in a variety of contexts. Assignments include a weekly reading and final essay.
Enrollment in this course is open to students in every major and will count toward the leadership studies minor elective credit hours. Students interested in leadership, military science, higher education, public sector or nonprofit management, or ethics should consider enrolling. The course is now available for enrollment at ksis.k-state.edu.
