Invited lecturer to present 'Physical Activity, Aging and Well-Being' Thursday
Edward McAuley, an internationally recognized scholar in the field of exercise and health psychology, will present "Physical Activity, Aging and Well-Being" at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 20, in Forum Hall at the K-State Union. All students, faculty and staff are invited to attend.
McAuley's research focuses on physical activity promotion across the lifespan and the factors that contribute to independent living and quality of life. He has done considerable work examining the impact of physical activity on the health and quality of life of older adults and cancer survivors.
His visit is sponsored by the Kinesiology Student Association.
