Community Safety Talk to take place April 19

The K-State Police Department will host a Community Safety Talk from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, April 19, in 401B of Hale Library. Chad Omit from the Topeka division of the National Weather Service will speak about weather-related emergencies.
Do you know how to respond to a weather related emergency? This presentation prepares the audience to better handle and reduce the risk of Kansas weather related emergencies to included tornados, driving in ice and snow, lightning and floods.

There is no charge to participants, but registration is necessary to ensure adequate seating and materials. Participants may register through HRIS Self_Enrollment or by sending an email to learning-develop-hr@k-state.edu. When sending an email, please include your name, department, employee ID number, course title and the course number, SAF100. Supervisors also may send an email to register student employees.
