Reminder: Laboratory Safety Renovation Program proposals due Nov. 16
Laboratory Safety Renovation Program proposals will be accepted until 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 16. Proposals should address safety or compliance issues within or related to research or teaching laboratory space. Proposals require a one-to-one department funding match and must be submitted by college or major unit leaders.
The application form and additional information about the program are available on the Laboratory Safety Renovation Program website.
The Office of the Vice President for Administration and Finance and the Office of the Vice President for Research created the Laboratory Safety Renovation Program to help address safety and compliance issues in laboratories. The program will award $1 million for laboratory improvements that include $500,000 from deferred maintenance support funds along with $500,000 from departmental matching funds.
