College of Education faculty, staff present at national conference
College of Education faculty members and undergraduate students are attending and presenting at the National Association for Professional Development Schools in Atlanta this week.
Professors of practice Tracey Perez and Dustin Meritt, along with Suzanne Porath, assistant professor of curriculum and instruction, are presenting "The Role of Professors of Practice in a PDS Partnership" during a round table. Meritt and Porath are also presenting "Action Research to Support Teachers' Personalized Learning."
In addition, Lauren Bergman, an undergraduate student in elementary education, is presenting her research poster on "Three Pedagogies of Child-Centered Classroom Community Learning: A Literature Review." Hanna Schreiber, an undergraduate in secondary English, also had a research poster accepted, "Picture Books in the Secondary Classroom."
