Blue Collar comedy: Bill Engvall brings laughs to McCain performance series

Bill Engvall, one of today's most popular and successful comedians, will perform two shows, at 7 and 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, in McCain Auditorium, for Kansas State University's McCain Performance Series.
Engvall, a platinum recording artist and Grammy nominee, is known for his ability to share the humor in everyday situations. Engvall has hosted "Lingo" on the Game Show Network, as well as starred in and produced his own self-titled sitcom on TBS that ran for three seasons.
He was also a member of the hugely popular "Blue Collar Comedy Tour," and reunited with his tour co-stars, Larry the Cable Guy and Jeff Foxworthy, for a comedy special on CMT. Most recently, Engvall starred in the Hallmark Channel movie "Kiss at Pine Lake," and is currently working on an animated show for CMT's "Bounty Hunters."
