Study abroad and scholarship opportunity at the University of Western Australia
The study abroad office would like to remind Kansas State University students that a new study abroad opportunity is available at the University of Western Australia.
One of the top universities in Australia and one of the top 100 universities in the world, the University of Western Australia has course offerings in business, history, political science, agricultural science, engineering and many more.
An exchange agreement means K-State students are charged the in-state K-State tuition when they attend the University of Western Ausralia. Even if you normally pay out-of-state tuition at K-State, on this exchange program you will be charged in-state tuition rates.
Students who are accepted to this program are eligible to receive a scholarship of $5,000 from the president's office; additional funding may also be available from the office of international programs. Preference will be given to students who contact the study abroad office by Oct. 12, have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and have accumulated at least 60 credit hours. Students who do not meet these preferences will also be considered and may be accepted, depending on the level of interest in this opportunity.
