Taking the MCAT next year? Attend an information session for the UFM MCAT Prep Course
Alexa Wilden, lead instructor for the spring 2020 UFM MCAT Prep Course, will give an MCAT strategy presentation and information session at the Pre-Med Club meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, in 207 K-State Student Union.
This is an opportunity for juniors taking the MCAT next year to become familiar with the MCAT and learn about the structure and resources provided for the UFM MCAT Prep course. Registration information will also be provided.

This class will serve to prepare students for the Medical College Admissions Test. Science concepts, psychology and sociology concepts and MCAT-specific skills and strategies for each section will be discussed and practiced in class. Class time will be spent reviewing relevant content, solving practice passages and questions, and discussing section strategies as a group. Frequent timed practice sections and full-length practice tests are incorporated into the course and will be reviewed in class. Students should also be prepared to spend extensive time practicing with the material outside of class. Additional information regarding applications, personal statements, and letters of recommendation will be provided throughout the course. All practice material will be provided and is covered in the course fee if enrolling before Jan. 7, 2020.

Registration deadline for class minimum is Dec. 18.
Class meets Jan. 23 through April 30, 2020, from 5-6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 2-5 p.m. Sundays. No class March 8, March 10, March 12, March 15 or April 12.
If registering after Jan. 7, 2020, the materials will need to be ordered on your own and you will be responsible for ensuring you have access to the required materials: AAMC MCAT Official Prep Online-Only Bundle, and
Altius 1 Practice Test.
