Former chairman, president and CEO of YRC Worldwide Bill Zollars to present in College of Business Administration's Distinguished Lecture Series

Bill Zollars, former chairman, president and chief executive officer of YRC Worldwide Inc., will be the fall 2019 speaker for the Kansas State University College of Business Administration's Distinguished Lecture Series.
The lecture will begin at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, in the K-State Business Building Western Star Ag Resources Lecture Hall. The event is free and open to the public.
As chairman, president and chief executive officer of YRC Worldwide, Inc., William D. "Bill" Zollars, led one of the largest and most recognizable global transportation service providers from 1999-2011. Before that, Zollars was president of Yellow Transportation Inc., a position he accepted in 1996 as part of a major management transition for the company.
From 1994-1996, Zollars was senior vice president of Ryder Integrated Logistics, a $1.5 billion division of Ryder System, Inc., based in Miami, Florida. Previously, he spent 24 years in various executive positions at Eastman Kodak, including assignments in London, Toronto and Tokyo.
Zollars currently serves on the boards of CIGNA Corp., Cerner Corp., ProLogis Inc., Pollenware and Restone Logistics. Zollars has a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Minnesota and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
The Kansas State University College of Business Administration Distinguished Lecture Series brings successful business professionals to campus to share their knowledge and experience. Lectures are given every semester and are sponsored by Commerce Bank and the William T. Kemper Foundation.
