Students invited to Virtual Town Hall with K-State administrators
Submitted by Communications and Marketing
With the shift to remote learning and the limited operations status of Kansas State University campuses, President Richard Myers, Provost Charles Taber and Vice President for Student Life and Dean of Students Thomas Lane invite students to participate in a virtual town hall at 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 31.
The Virtual Town Hall will be broadcast via YouTube Live. Access will require a K-State eID to view the session. Please visit the president's communications webpage to access the stream.
"We understand how hectic and stressful these past few weeks have been for students as we switched to remote learning and asked you to stay away from your campus and campus community for the rest of the semester," Myers said. "It's been a big change and we could not have accomplished all we have without your cooperation and understanding. That's why we, along with key student leaders and administrators, want to hear from you about how things are going, the challenges you are facing and to provide the latest information on university operations.
Myers, Taber and Lane will be joined by Student Body President Jansen Penny, who also will serve as moderator. Other panelists may be added.
Please email questions in advance to vpcm@k-state.edu with the subject line "Town Hall question." Students may also use this email to submit questions and comments during the session.
