APDesign students recognized for achievements in APDPro

Fourteen graduates in the Kansas State University College of Architecture, Planning & Design, or APDesign, received APDPro certification by completing all five years of requirements for APDPro, the college's professional development program.

The following students achieved certification in APDPro during the 2019-2020 academic year:

Roger Clark, fifth-year student in architecture, Anthony; Grace Mader, fifth-year student in landscape architecture, Baldwin City; Konner Pendland, fifth-year student in landscape architecture, Leawood; Marilina Bedros, fifth-year student in architecture, Manhattan; Grant Urban, fifth-year student in architecture, Manhattan; Shelby Hollman, fifth-year student in landscape architecture, Osawatomie; Madison Armbruster, fifth-year student in interior architecture & product design, Paola; Danielle Hodgson, fifth-year student in landscape architecture, Denver, Colorado; Ashley Stark, fifth-year student in interior architecture & product design, Burlington, Illinois; Elsa Stoffel, fifth-year student in landscape architecture, Palos Park, Illinois; Kooper Holbrook, fifth-year student in architecture, Kearney, Missouri; Abigail Dick, fifth-year student in interior architecture & product design, Mexico, Missouri; Yuvrajsinh Dodiya, fifth-year student in architecture, Peculiar, Missouri; and Katherine Little, fifth-year student in architecture, Raton, New Mexico.

The mission of APDPro is to enrich students' experience in APDesign and provide a competitive advantage as they transition to the workplace. The programs offered through APDPro help students develop the career skills employers are looking for via workshops, lectures, seminars, professional mentoring and networking opportunities. Students receive a notation on their transcript for each year they complete the program requirements and become certified in APDPro if they complete the requirements all five years of the program.
