Three-Minute Thursday Tip: Using Groups in Canvas
Today's Three-Minute Thursday Tip focuses on using Groups in Canvas. The Canvas Groups tool is a great way to break a large class into smaller segments so that students do not feel too overwhelmed.
The K-State Global Campus instructional design team brings you Three-Minute Thursday Tips each Thursday through K-State Today. These short videos will cover Canvas, best practices in teaching online or new topics as the community begins to discuss them.
In addition to today's video, here are a few additional resources:
- What are Groups?
- Groups Overview Video
- How do I create a group discussion in a course?
- How do I assign an assignment to a course group?
Please contact us with comments, to schedule a consultation or to share ideas for future videos. The best way to reach us is through our shared email account at gcid@k-state.edu. Thank you for spending three minutes with us today.
