Apply for the Kirmser Undergraduate Research Award: Applications due April 23
Did you know that you could win $1,000 for a research project that you either completed last fall or are working on this spring?
Undergraduate students are encouraged to apply for the eighth annual Kirmser Undergraduate Research Award, which is given annually at the end of the spring semester. The award recognizes excellent research for any K-State course, especially projects that incorporate library resources.
Funded by a gift to K-State Libraries from Philip and Jeune Kirmser, the award program includes three major categories:
- Individual freshman projects — $1,000 grand prize.
- Individual undergraduate projects, nonfreshman — $1,000 grand prize.
- Undergraduate group project — minimum $2,000 grand prize.
Additional honorable mention awards will be acknowledged in each category.
Access the application guidelines and submit your materials at the K-State Libraries website.
