Psychological sciences professor awarded $1.5 million NSF grant
Lester Loschky, professor of psychological sciences, was awarded a three-year grant from the National Science Foundation, along with his collaborators Sanjay Rebello, Purdue University, physics/education; and Minh Hoai Nguyen, SUNY Stony Brook University, computer science.
The $1.5 million project will study how to measure and model students' attention processes during online multimedia instruction. With the dramatic increase in computer-assisted instruction over the past two years, this is an important and timely research topic.
The project also highlights the exciting multidisciplinary collaborations that K-State's psychological sciences department maintains with other researchers around the world.
