Kansas State University continues to provide updates in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The following is a summary of announcements from Aug. 23-27.

Updates continue to be posted on the COVID-19 website, which includes guidance and frequently asked questions about the return to university campuses. The following pages recently have been updated:

President Richard Myers shares a welcome back letter Aug. 23 in K-State Today.
K-State will continue in-person operations.
Kansas State University will continue in-person operations while welcoming back students, faculty and staff for a fall semester of in-person learning. The Aug. 25 remote work guidance from Gov. Laura Kelly does not apply to K-State or its employees.
COVID-19 testing for students, faculty and staff is available at Lafene Health Center.
Lafene Health Center will continue to provide access to voluntary asymptomatic and symptomatic COVID-19 testing at no charge to K-State students, faculty and staff.
Lafene Health Center continues offering COVID-19 vaccines.
Lafene Health Center continues to offer COVID-19 vaccine opportunities for students, faculty and staff. Appointments are required and can be made on the myLafene+ patient portal or by calling 785-532-6544.
K-State introduces Land-Grant Commitment with Higher Education Emergency Relief Funds III.
Through HEERF III, the federal government has allocated Kansas State University and other universities additional funding to prevent, prepare for and respond to COVID-19 and the ongoing impact of the pandemic.
K-Staters can voluntarily upload their COVID-19 vaccine cards.
K-State students, faculty and staff are encouraged to voluntarily upload their COVID-19 vaccine cards to the myLafene+ patient portal. By uploading the cards, K-Staters can help Lafene Health Center continue to track vaccination rates at the university.
The university continues to track and evaluate COVID-19 data in our community.
