Student Senate Weekly Update
Good morning, Wildcats!
Student Senate met for the first time this semester on Thursday, Sept. 2. This meeting was in Wildcat Chamber at the K-State Student Union for the first time since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. At the meeting, four new Student Senators were approved to serve for the 2021-2022 term. Because this meeting was the first of the 2021-2022 school year, there were few pieces of legislation on the agenda. Student Senate, however, heard reports from various areas of student government, including from the judicial and executive branches, as well as many cabinet members and committee chairs.
Student Senate will reconvene at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, in Wildcat Chamber. Please feel free to join student leaders in Wildcat Chamber if you would like to attend. Additionally, you can view previous Student Senate meetings on our YouTube page.
