Apply now for summer 2013 Morse scholarship
Thinking of an internship this summer but not sure how you'll make the money work out? K-State Libraries is currently accepting applications for the Marjorie J. and Richard L. D. Morse Family and Community Public Policy Scholarship.
The $3,000 scholarship will be awarded to a K-State undergraduate student for a project during the summer of 2013 that involves community service and has the potential to impact public policy. The experience should include an internship with a public agency, community organization, educational institution or other policy- or community-based entity.
Not sure if your project fits the bill? Guidelines are available online, as well as a list of past recipients and their projects.
Applications should be submitted to Lori Goetsch, dean of libraries, 504 Hale Library, no later than April 16. You can drop of a printed copy or send via email to lgoetsch@k-state.edu.
