KAWSE to host holistic self-care workshop for underrepresented students in STEM
The K-State Office for the Advancement of Women in Science and Engineering, or KAWSE, will host "Holistic Self-Care for Underrepresented Students in STEM" from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday, Oct. 28, in 2124 Regnier/Seaton Hall. Attendees can come and go as they wish.
The event is aimed to provide space for connection and support for students of various marginalized identities who are engaged in STEM fields.
We are partnering with the LGBT Resource Center, the Office of First-generation Students and Counseling and Psychological Services to provide sessions on varying experiences in STEM and time for networking and connection.
Donuts and coffee will be provided, and interested students can register using this link.
