Nominations open for Ice-Barrett Champions Award
The 2021-2022 Ice-Barrett Champions Award nominations are now open.
The award honors a K-State campus member and a K-State community member who have championed the mission of Cats' Cupboard. The mission of the Cats' Cupboard is to provide access to nutritious food and support through initiatives that promote health, success and well-being. Recipients create a noticeable impact to help make Cats' Cupboard a successful and productive resource for K-State students.
Students, faculty, staff and community members can make a nomination(s). Individuals may nominate others or provide a self-nomination.
Award recipients exemplify one or a combination of the following qualities.
- Time: Volunteering time, length of service, milestones crossed, demonstrates consistent support.
- Talent: Excellence in performance, communication, leadership, event planning, knowledge expertise.
- Treasure: Providing major gifts, identifying corporate gifts, writing grants, in-kind donations.
One Campus Ice-Barrett Champions Award: The campus award will be given to one current K-State student, faculty, or staff member.
One Community Ice-Barrett Champions Award: The community award will be given to one individual who has no work or academic affiliation with K-State. This may include but is not limited to volunteers, community members, alumni, parents and families of students.
