Student Senate Weekly Update
Good morning, Wildcats,
Thank you all so much for those who voted in last week's Student Governing Association general election, and congratulations to those who were elected! The new Student Governing Association term will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 24, in Wildcat Chamber at the K-State Student Union. The current term of student senators will continue to meet until that point.
On Thursday, Feb. 24, Student Senate met. At the meeting, Student Senate approved a new student senator. Additionally, Student Senate introduced on-campus allocations to the Hispanic American Leadership Organization and Ratio Christi. There were also travel allocations introduced for Anthropology Club, Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society, Graduate Students of Agricultural Economics, and Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Related Sciences. These pieces of legislation will be voted upon by Student Senate next week.
Student Senate will reconvene at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 3, in Wildcat Chamber at the K-State Student Union. All are welcome to attend in person or can watch live on YouTube at the K-State SGA YouTube channel.
