Eiselein and Bowman to present 'Practicing Gratitude' TLC professional development event today
Submitted by Teaching and Learning Center
As part of Teaching and Learning Center's professional development series, Greg Eiselein, director of K-State First, and Chris Bowman, director for the Morrison Family Center for Student Well-being, will present "Practicing Gratitude" from noon to 1 p.m. today via Zoom.
This workshop will teach participants how to use gratitude as an effective well-being strategy to increase productivity. During our discussion, we will explore three micro-strategies to help refocus participants' minds and advance their well-being. Participants will walk away with step-by-step instructions about how to introduce this into their coursework or classroom and with a greater understanding of the impact gratitude can have on a person's mind, body and well-being. This workshop is the first in a series called Wildcat Reset, designed to help faculty and staff introduce micro-strategies to students to reset their minds and advance their well-being.
The events in the Professional Development Series are free and no registration is required. We hope to see you there.
