Anna Gonzalez, vice chancellor for student affairs at Washington University in St. Louis, presents "Transformative Leadership: (Re)centering Students in Colleges and Universities” at 10:30 a.m. April 22 in Leadership Studies' Town Hall. For those who would be interested in attending virtually, please click here to register for the Zoom link.

Her work focuses on first-generation students, immigrant students, equity and diversity, higher education policy and governance, student affairs administration, and higher education finance. Her scholarly publications include the book, "Transformational Encounters: Shaping Diverse College and University Leaders."

The Chester E. Peters Lectures in Student Development Series was established in 1983. Kansas State University, in cooperation with the College of Education, named the lecture series after Chet Peters in recognition of his contributions to K-State students and the student personnel profession.
