New one credit class: Meditation and Movement
If you need a one credit class, UFM Learning Center is offering a new class called Meditation and Movement. It will be taught by Jhoe Stonestreet on Thursdays from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
The course will assist participants in developing a daily habit of meditation and bodily movement. This whole person approach to renewal builds skills needed to mitigate stress and anxiety, improve self-awareness and revitalize self-perception and body image. The mat-based stretching, strengthening, balance, and functional exercises facilitate physiological responses that promote overall well-being. The integrated approach of breathwork, movement and meditation comprise the model of nourishing the mind, body and spirit.
