Volunteers needed for Social ImpactLab
The Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Social Work and the Department of Applied Human Sciences will be co-hosting Social ImpactLab, a day-long event for youth in grades 7-10 to learn more about social service careers and programs at K-State. The departments are looking for students to volunteer at the event in various capacities, such as registration, directing youth to rooms, lunch and helping with breakout sessions.
The event will be held from 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Friday, April 14, in the K-State Student Union. Volunteers will receive an event t-shirt, lunch and a great resume boost.
Please email Kristen Kremer at kpkremer@ksu.edu if you're interested in helping.
