Apply for the Kirmser Undergraduate Research Award: Applications due April 21
Undergraduate students are encouraged to apply for the 10th annual Kirmser Undergraduate Research Award, which is given at the end of the spring semester. The award recognizes excellent research for any K-State course, especially projects that incorporate library resources.
Students could win $1,500 for a research project completed last fall or in progress this spring.
Funded by a gift to K-State Libraries from Philip and Jeune Kirmser, the award program includes three major categories:
- Individual freshman projects — $1,500 grand prize.
- Individual undergraduate projects, nonfreshman — $1,500 grand prize.
- Undergraduate group project — minimum $3,000 grand prize.
Additional honorable mention awards will be granted $100 each.
