College of Arts and Sciences career mentorship program for students kicks off soon
The College of Arts and Sciences offers a mentorship program for all its undergraduate students. The Arts and Sciences Mentorship Program pairs students with professionals who provide insight and guidance on career preparation and pathways, and it helps students strategically develop their professional networks.
Interested students should sign up by Sept. 4 to be onboarded in time for the program launch on Sept. 11. To sign up, activate your WildcatLink account by signing in with your K-State eID and password, and then request membership in the ArtSci Mentorship Program. While awaiting approval, complete your profile.
The program serves to mentor students toward career paths that complement their chosen degrees and prepare them for the transition from student to professional. Mentees will network with mentors, ask questions, and learn firsthand about their mentor's experiences and what employers in their professions require.
For information, contact the program's coordinator, Zac Malcolm, at malcoz@k-state.edu.
