KAWSE to host STEM-ina: Peer Support Group for Graduate Students
KAWSE, or the K-State Office for the Advancement of Women in Science and Engineering, will host STEM-ina: Peer Support Group for Graduate Students on Sept. 7, Oct. 5, Nov. 2 and Dec. 7.
These peer support sessions are offered once a month, but there is no commitment to attend every session — attend the one(s) that are useful to you. The first 20 minutes are dedicated to networking and goal setting; the remaining time is reserved to make progress on those goals. RSVPing for STEM-ina grants you access to the group's shared Google Doc and GroupMe, but does not commit you to attending any specific sessions.
Graduate students can now RSVP for STEM-ina. All sessions are from 4-6 p.m. in Room 202 of the K-State Student Union. Snacks will be provided.
Any questions about STEM-ina may be directed to Stephanie Rose, KAWSE program coordinator, at swacker@k-state.edu.
