Apply for the Kirmser Undergraduate Research Award: Applications due April 19
Undergraduate students are encouraged to apply for the 11th annual Kirmser Undergraduate Research Award, which is given at the end of the spring semester. The award recognizes excellent research projects for any K-State course that incorporates library resources.
Students could win $1,500 for a research project completed last fall or in progress this spring.
Funded by a gift to K-State Libraries from Philip and Jeune Kirmser, the award program includes three major categories:
- Individual freshman projects — $1,500 grand prize.
- Individual undergraduate projects, nonfreshman — $1,500 grand prize.
- Undergraduate group project — minimum $3,000 grand prize.
Additional honorable mention awards will be granted $100 each.
