Lee Rivers, from the Institute of International Education, will share information about the Fulbright U.S. Student Grant program at 3 p.m. Sept. 12 in the K-State Student Union Room 226.
The Fulbright funds an academic year of international experience for U.S. citizens, and is open to graduating seniors and graduate students. With more than 1,700 awards available, the Fulbright is a terrific opportunity to study, conduct international research or work as an English Teaching Assistant abroad.
Rivers is a K-State graduate and currently the assistant manager for outreach and special projects for Institute of International Education. He will share information about the purpose of the Fulbright program, the range of opportunities available and how to create a strong application. Interested students are encouraged to attend.
