Attend Mudge Week events April 8-12

The Popenoe Entomology Club will host Mudge Week April 8-12, an annual celebration of entomology in remembrance of Benjamin Mudge, the first professor to teach an entomology course at K-State. Student-centered activities are scheduled for every day of the week and are open to all K-State students.
Daily events will be posted on Instagram @popenoe_entomology_club, Facebook and X @PopenoeEntoClub.
The following is the schedule of events:
All week:
- Pie-a-Phillip Donation Drive in support of Cats' Cupboard.
- Mudge Scavenger Hunt in Waters Hall.
Monday, April 8:
- Professional headshots from 10 a.m. to noon outside of Waters Hall.
- Bake sale benefiting the Entomology Academic Teams from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. outside the entomology department front office in West Waters Hall.
Tuesday, April 9:
- Popenoe Entomology Club invited speaker, Arnaud Martin, will give a talk about the genetic evolution of butterflies and moths at 4 p.m. in Room 231 of Waters Hall.
Wednesday, April 10:
- Pollinator seed mix distribution outside Waters Hall from 10 a.m. to noon and inside the K-State Student Union from 1-3 p.m.
Thursday, April 11:
- Students vs. faculty entomology games match at 1 p.m. in Room 13 of Leasure Hall.
Friday, April 12:
- Dress as faculty costume contest.
- Awards ceremony at 3 p.m. in Room 328 of Waters Hall.
