New fall 2024 geology course deals with sustainable water-energy-mineral resources
Do you want to understand how water, energy and mineral resources are used by society and learn more about the impacts their exploitation has on the environment and the public?
If so, consider enrolling in GEOL 305, Sustainable Earth Resources, for fall 2024. In this course, we will build a fundamental understanding of Earth resources and the environmental impacts of resource extraction, and consider how society’s need for these resources can be regarded as sustainable.
Course details: GEOL 305, three credit hours, Tuesday/Thursday 2:30-3:45 p.m. Prerequisites: GEOL 100 or GEOG 121, but if you are in another 100 level GEOL class, you will be able to enroll with instructor’s permission. Instructor: Matt Brueseke, brueseke@-state.edu.
