Undergraduate tutors needed at Academic Achievement Center
Submitted by Academic Achievement Center
The Academic Achievement Center is accepting applications for content peer tutors and success skill peer tutors for fall 2024. Peer tutoring is hiring hourly part time.
Content peer tutors help facilitate the content learning process outside of a formal classroom structure. Content peer tutors are needed for a variety of K-State courses, and one tutor may hold several tutoring sessions a week in various courses. Applicants must have received a “B” or better at K-State in the courses you wish to tutor.
Success skills tutoring is individualized support to develop key skills to be successful in college. Success skills tutors facilitate a process that helps students build capacity for success by focusing on the building blocks essential to academic achievement like communication, time management and study skills.
The application and position descriptions can be found at k-state.edu/aac/about/employment-opportunities.html.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, but the priority deadline to apply is Friday, April 26.
