Updated K-State Today publishing information

Submitted by Division of Communications and Marketing

K-State Today, the university's e-newsletter, has an updated publishing schedule and guidelines.

K-State Today will be published three days per week — Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Contribution deadlines remain noon the day before publication.

Additionally, the guidelines for submission to K-State Today will change regarding event postings. Event submissions and notifications will shift to the K-State calendar, or Localist, for publication starting in September. The university's events calendar is a robust tool that allows users to post an event's date, time and location, tag events and quickly add an event to a personal calendar.

Learn how to customize K-State event notifications through the university calendar.

Trainings and additional how-to guides will soon be available explaining how to add events to the calendar.

Events can also be posted on unit social media accounts, unit newsletters, unit listservs, unit websites and digital signage.
