Support for students experiencing difficulties through Student Support and Accountability

Submitted by Laurel Moody

If you are experiencing any challenges that are impacting your ability to be successful in your classes, or your experience at K-State, it may be time to schedule with staff in Student Support and Accountability. There are no challenges too big or too small for our staff, who are experts in navigating the university systems. Once we understand the circumstances, we focus heavily on problem-solving to explore options, connecting students to resources, and communicating with faculty, if necessary.

When you meet with a staff member in the office, students can expect to have a discussion about the difficulties they are facing, make a plan for how to move forward and make decisions, and leave with information on other relevant resources that could be helpful, both on campus and in the surrounding community.

What we do:

  • Problem solve issues, big and small
  • Advocate for students
  • Review options
  • Make decisions
  • Connect to resources
  • Communicate with faculty, when needed

If this type of meeting sounds like it could benefit you, please visit our website to schedule an appointment with the appropriate contact based on your major.
