Applications open for Kansas Water Institute undergraduate scholarship program

Submitted by Melissa Harvey

Undergraduate students who are conducting water-related research are encouraged to apply for a new scholarship opportunity from the Kansas Water Institute.

The KWI Undergraduate Water Fellows Program is a two-semester program that supports K-State juniors or seniors who are conducting a water-related research project with a K-State faculty member during fall 2024 and spring 2025.

The program is designed to support students with their undergraduate research experiences. Participating students qualify for a $1,000 per semester Duane and Terry Townley Family Scholarship. The online application portal is now open; the deadline to apply is Sept. 30.

For more details about this opportunity and a link to the application portal, visit the Kansas Water Institute website.
