Looking for participants for paid online study

Submitted by Christopher Barlett

Christopher Barlett, assistant professor of psychological sciences, is seeking current K-State students who are interested in participating in a paid research study.

Three times during the academic year — October, January and April — interested participants will complete several questionnaires. Each wave of data collection is expected to take 30 minutes to complete; however, this time may vary based on reading speed and attention. All measures are completed online, so any current K-State student can complete this study in the comfort of their own home and at their convenience.

Barlett will compensate all participating students with a $5 amazon.com gift card for each wave of data collected when the study is complete. Moreover, if a participant completes all three waves of data collection, they will get an additional $5 bonus. So, completing three waves will give you $20 to amazon.com, while completing two out of three waves will give you $10 to amazon.com.

Participants must be 18 years and older and a current K-State student. Graduate students, students who are abroad, students taking online coursework, and students attending classes in person are all eligible to participate.

If interested or have questions, email arl2012@k-state.edu and we can add you to the list of participants. Hurry, there are limited spots available in this study.

This study has received IRB approval No. 12329.
