Collaborative Communication for Supervisors offered Oct. 24

Collaborative Communication for Supervisor will be offered from 8-10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, in the K-State Alumni Center Purple Pride Conference Room.
This session focuses on communication and decision making, highlighting ways that communication can facilitate or hinder collaborative decision-making practices in the workplace.
As a result of this session, participants will:
- Identify and practice effective listening, dialogue and decision-making techniques.
- Identify and analyze common communication barriers to navigate conflicts in the workplace.
- Apply techniques and strategies to become more skilled in interpersonal communication.
You must be a current supervisor of university support staff or unclassified professionals to attend this session. This session is offered in conjunction with the K-State Supervisory Foundations Pillar I: Establishing Your Supervisory Foundation certificate program, and seating is limited.
