Throwing the Disc

The most insecure part of a new player’s game is their throw. Once they have the disc they tend to panic, tossing it quickly away. The cure for this is practice, practice, practice.

Start with a proper grip, get a partner, and get out there and throw. Start with short throws, and work up. And don’t forget to practice the throws you are least comfortable with – by mastering them you will boost your confidence and your play will improve dramatically.
