Biography
Captain Patrick Whaley is an Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies for Air Force Reserve Officers’ Training Corps at Detachment 270, Kansas State University. He is responsible for educating, training, and inspiring young men and women to become officers of character, leading the United States Air Force and Space Force in service to our Nation.
Captain Whaley enlisted in the Air Force in 2008 as a Security Forces member and earned his commission in 2019 via Officer Training School at Maxwell AFB, AL. He served from the ranks of Airman Basic to Technical Sergeant. Lieutenant Whaley has deployed in support of Operations IRAQI FREEDOM, ENDURING FREEDOM, and INHERENT RESOLVE.
