Course link
Use the catalog - course list to link to a course by specifying a subject prefix and course number.
Four fields are available in the component's dialog box.
| Field | Details |
| Catalog | These radio buttons select which catalog type will be used: Undergraduate or Graduate. The generated links will always be to the most recent version of the specified type. |
| Course prefix | This required text input field specifies the courses's subject/course prefix such as ENGL, HIST, or MATH. If no matching course is found, the link will be to the homepage of the most recent catalog of the specified type. |
| Course number | This required text input field specifies the course number, e.g., 100. |
| Link text | This text input field specifies the content of the generated link. The default includes the course's subject prefix, number, and name. For example, "ENGL 100 - Expository Writing I". |

The default link text is the course's prefix, number, and name. Custom link text can be used to simplify sentences. For example "Many technical majors require Loading... and Loading... " could be written as "Many technical majors require Loading... and Loading... ."
