Quick
Summary
You
start with several knights and castles on the board. Define your
domains by playing boundary walls that extend out and around your
castles. Once your castles are encircled, you can score
victory points for towns, forests, and mines within their territory.
Play cards
from your hand to place
boundaries,
recruit knights, increase your domain at the expense of a
neighbor who has fewer knights, forge peace treaties with
troublesome neighbors, and stealing opponents' knights. Each card
offers one or two actions, which you must pay to initiate.
Gradually
you will see your domaine form and then expand, bringing it into
conflict with the domaines of others. The presence of knights within
each domaine will determine how vulnerable it is to expansion.
