Students on the K-State campus

About Navigate

Navigate allows advisors, student life professionals, academic coaches, tutors, and others on campus to streamline and enhance student academic success

What is Navigate?

First discussed in the Theme II Implementation Plan in 2013, and later recommended by the Strategic Enrollment Management process, Navigate is a specific suite of technological tools which are integrated with the KSIS Advisor Center as part of campus student retention strategies. The idea is to help student success professionals be increasingly connected, proactive and guided by data while using these tools to support diverse efforts to increase undergraduate persistence and successful graduation.

Navigate supports student success through

  • Streamlining information shared among advisors.
  • Helping advisors identify students for early intervention.
  • Guiding students in creating graduation plans.
  • Providing online appointment scheduling and other daily workflow efficiency tools.
