Statement Regarding Students with Disabilities

At K-State, it is important that every student has access to course content and the means to demonstrate course mastery. Students with disabilities may benefit from accommodations provided by the Student Access Center. Disabilities can include physical, learning, executive functions, and mental health.

Students can visit or contact the appropriate campus office to register or ask questions:

Manhattan/Olathe/K-State Online – Student Access Center

K-State Salina Campus – Julie Rowe – Access Coordinator

Once a student is registered with the Student Access Center, Letters of Accommodation should be requested early in the semester to provide adequate time to arrange approved academic accommodations. Letters of Accommodation will be emailed to students and faculty for each course. Students should follow up with instructors to discuss how best to implement the approved accommodations.
