Testing Accommodations

SAC Testing Center works with faculty to provide accommodations on course exams to students with approved accommodations. It is important for students to reach out to instructors to discuss testing accommodations before scheduling with SAC Testing Center because students need to understand how exams are handled for each class and plan accordingly.

Scheduling an Exam with the SAC Testing Center

  • The SAC Testing Office is located in Holton Hall 002 and is open 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday.
  • Students are responsible for scheduling exams on AIM by signing into the Student AIM Portal. Review the step-by-step instructions on how to schedule an exam.
  • Exam requests are to be submitted on AIM at least 3 business days before the date of the exam. Final exam requests are to be submitted on AIM at least 10 business days before the final.
  • Deadline for scheduling Fall 2024 Final exams: November 22, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.

  • Late requests can be submitted; however, if a late request cannot be approved, students should be prepared to take the exam with the class.
  • Keep track of upcoming exams in AIM by accessing My Dashboard - My Accommodations - Alternative Testing (left navigation bar).
  • From the Alternative Testing page, students can request to schedule exams and view or modify exam requests.
  • Students receive emails for each exam request submitted, approved requests, and reminders for upcoming exams.
  • Students should arrive on time for scheduled exams. Arriving late will not extend the scheduled end time of the exam.
  • SAC computers do not have Respondus LockDown or TopHat. If the online exam requires LockDown or TopHat, the students must bring their own laptop with the program installed.
  • Please contact the SAC Testing Center for questions or concerns
