The Office of the Vice President for Administration and Finance leads through operational excellence to advance the university’s mission and vision of becoming the next-generation land-grant university. Our mission is inspired by the goals established by the Next-Gen K-state strategic plan.
Our review will ensure the university budget model incentivizes research and interdisciplinary activities, encourages enrollment growth, provides greater financial accountability and preserves mission-critical activities.
This project will develop the tools needed to guide K-State through all future campus planning projects to accommodate the needs of a growing university.
The Campus Physical Security Plan reevaluates the ways we physically secure facilities and campus spaces.
This program provides Kansas Board of Regents (KBOR) assistance to Kansas universities to support campuses in vital infrastructure updates.
Our workforce structure and compensation study will review current university pay and practices and establish a compensation philosophy and supporting structures focused on competitiveness and performance.
This new software will modernize the university travel and expense processes with enhanced travel data, streamlined invoicing and reimbursement and fully digitized expense reporting.
This project seeks to update our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to meet the functional needs of a modern university, improve the overall digital experience and enable data-informed decision-making at all levels of the institution.
The university will be establishing a unified, comprehensive performance appraisal form and a new electronic learning and performance management system.
This initiative seeks to implement a new, optimized universal time and leave system for use universitywide.
