Attend the Business Expo to Connect with Employers

Feb. 19, 2024 - The Career Center and the College of Business Administration invite students to attend the Business Expo. This event will be held in the Business Building for three consecutive days starting Feb. 20 and ending Feb. 22. Students are encouraged to attend and connect with employers from 12-3 p.m. Students who are interested in business career pathways are encouraged to attend.

“The Business Expo is a great opportunity for students to connect with 60+ employers from a variety of business-related industries. Employers are eager to network with and hire students for jobs, internships, and co-op positions that are available at their company. I encourage students to come and speak to these employers who are actively recruiting here at K-State," said Chloe Edger, liaison to the College of Arts and Sciences.

Students are encouraged to view the event details in Handshake. The Career Center also encourages students to bring multiple copies of their resume and research companies of interest before the event. We recommend that students update their Handshake settings to easily check-in with employers the day of the event. Employers will be using QR codes at their tables the day of the event. This is a great opportunity for employers to access students' Handshake information after the event. Visit our website to learn more about how to prepare for this year’s business expo.

There are also other opportunities for students to connect with employers online at the Employer Pitch Night for business and communications career pathways. The event will be held from 5:30-7 p.m. on Feb. 22 via zoom. Students will need to register for the Employer Pitch Night on Handshake to access the zoom link and view the list of employers.
