The Gadzikwa Research Laboratory

supramolecular catalysis = supramolecular chemistry + catalysis + metal-organic framework materials

The members of this lab describe ourselves as molecular architects: we use the tools of Inorganic, Organic, and Materials Chemistry to construct functional materials using molecules as our building blocks. Like architects, we design the supramolecular structure, plan and oversee its construction via the self-assembly of molecular building blocks, and then finally, we decorate the interior of our construct so that it fulfills the purpose for which it was built. The purpose of the structures we build in our lab is to perform catalysis.

Researchers interested in metal-organic framework materials, catalysis, or organic synthesis would find a happy home here. Contact Tendai Gadzikwa if you would like to be part of the SupraCat team.
